As Wes and Tracye, we have embraced the milestone of reaching the remarkable age of 50. With a focus on quality rather than mere quantity, we are determined to make the most of every moment.
Balancing our full-time jobs with other ventures, Wes manages a couple of businesses, while Tracye applies her skills both within and beyond the home. Notably, she is the driving force behind our thriving “fresh farm egg” business. Our sanctuary lies on approximately 40 acres of picturesque land off the captivating Georgia coast.
Exploration is at the core of our existence. We find ourselves continuously drawn to the islands of Georgia and northern Florida, seeking new experiences and discovering hidden gems along the way. Nature beckons us, as we are surrounded by the beauty of our farm and the harmonious presence of our animal family. Several feline companions, a pair of loyal canines, and a lively community of nearly 200 free-ranging chickens keep us entertained and fulfilled.
Our leisure time is a precious commodity that we treasure. We dedicate it to nurturing our pets, engaging in invigorating cycling adventures, and immersing ourselves in the sheer joy of discovering new places and experiences. Life is a tapestry of rural tranquility, urban dynamism, and moments of solitude that replenish our souls.
But our journey doesn’t stop there. We have embarked on an exciting challenge that pushes the boundaries of our comfort zones. We have committed ourselves to undertake 50 new things over 50. It all began during a memorable trip to celebrate Wes’ 50th birthday in the enchanting Florida Keys. From unexpectedly sharing breakfast with chickens to embarking on an epic $300 Uber ride, dancing in the middle of the gulf, and impulsively buying a jeep, these experiences sparked our determination to embrace new adventures.
